To Implement ECB algorithm on IBM API Connect

Hello Team,

As per client requirement we need to implement ECB algorithm on IBM API Connect. When we tried to implement on API Connect that time getting "algorithm is not support" error.

Thank you for this request but we do not plan on adding support ECB encryption algorithms. It has been shown that ECB-base encryption is not semantically secure and should not be used. We would request that the client or server system that is using ECB look to using a supported algorithm that does not have known security vulnerabilities.

    Hello Team,

As per client requirement, we require to implement AES256-ECB algorithm at API Gateway end. As per discussion on PMR and community, IBM datapower does not support for ECB encryption as well in crypto module we didn't find AES256-ECB function.

We required to implement AES256-ECB algorthm for Encryption/Decryption on IBM API Connect.
