Serial Number: VMW3GVHWNK297FFJ

We are using two gateway server sharing the API ratelimit.

As Expected Rate limits are not shared between Clusters, Each cluster is managing its quota enforcement limit.
Here are the sequence of steps I have followed.
1.Configured two Banamex Datapower services with same port, base port etc, each service has got a datapower server [Banamex-IC-ext 169.177.209.237, Banamex-IC 168.72.71.165]. Both the clusters are configured with same Oauth protection key, so that OAUth works between clusters.
2.Added both datapower clusters to Banamex SIT1 Catalog
3.Published Authentication plan with 2 requests per 5 mins as rate limit to the catalog.
4.Triggered 2 requests to cluster1 in a min, third request got “rate limit exceeded” error
5.Triggered requests to cluster 2 [with in less than 2 mins], first two requests got successful response but third got “rate limit exceeded”. Which proves that both clusters are managing rate limits independently instead of sharing.

Our requirement is, rate limit should be shared & handled with multiple GW clusters. This is approach we are expecting. Please let us know feasibility on this.

Hi, As part of our Request for Enhancement backlog grooming process, this request which is now more than 3 years old, is not under consideration at this time. If other clients open similar enhancement requests at some time in the future the status of the request may change.

    Thanks!
