ACE SaaS - ACE CLI option in SaaS dashboard

Hi,

As part of our ongoing work with the ACE SaaS implementation, we've encountered several scenarios where it's necessary to run ACE-specific commands such as mqsicredentials, mqsicreatebar, and others. Currently, there is no provision to execute these commands directly from the ACE SaaS dashboard, nor are there APIs available to facilitate this functionality.

As a result, we are required to provision a separate VM with the ACE CLI installed, which contradicts the core advantage of adopting a SaaS model—namely, minimizing infrastructure management. This setup introduces additional overhead for our BAU (Business As Usual) support team and diminishes the overall value proposition of ACE SaaS.

In light of this, we kindly request that the following features be considered for inclusion in the ACE SaaS console:

  1. A built-in interface to manually execute ACE-specific commands directly within the console.
  2. REST APIs to programmatically run these commands, enabling seamless integration with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

These enhancements would significantly streamline operations, reduce infrastructure dependencies, and support more efficient DevOps practices.

Thank you for considering this request. We believe these features would greatly enhance the usability and competitiveness of the ACE SaaS offering.
