Make an new parameter to MQ-channel-definitions defining minimum-MQ-GET-WAIT-time

Many decentral MQ-applications are coded in Spring and Spring has a default MQ-GET-WAIT-time of one second, which decentral application-programmers typically don't worry about, but this relatively small MQ-GET-WAIT-time can cause a lot of CPU-over...

Necessary MQ Security Enhancements - Especially on z/OS

Lack of access visibility, especially while RESLEVEL is set permissively For example, if the CICS ID establishes a connection to MQ, MQ would not verify subsequent IDs from a user ID leveraging that CICS region to submit something to MQ from CIC...

This would be useful because in our busiest MQ subsystems at the busiest times of day we have log switches every 2 mins(or even more) and in some cases we have more that 30 log switches in 1 hour. We have just finished a health check with IBM and ...

Enhance runmqsc and MQExplorer to allow them to use JWTs to authenticate connections to a qmgr.

Although support for JWTs was added to MQ Client in 9.4 this is not yet supported by the admin tools such as runmqsc and MQExplorer. Using tokens to authenticate connections to QMgrs that are enabled for this would be highly beneficial.

Add IGNSTATE to CHLAUTH Rules

Please add the ability to specify IGNSTATE(YES) on a SET CHLAUTH ACTION(REMOVE) command. This would allow us to more easily write idempotent scripts for cleaning up our queue managers. Most every other object type has IGNSTATE(YES) as an option wh...

Multi-site DR for Native HA CRR

As cloud may/may not be acceptable to governance/policies, have a tertiary or great DR site off-cloud is desirable. Having the live and first recovery site in the cloud make sense but a 3rd site (2nd DR) on-prem is preferred. This may be an N-numb...
