Leveraging Kubernetes Secrets for Secure Drupal Integration

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

A client needs to store and retrieve encrypted values, such as credentials, within custom modules of a Drupal portal for authentication with external systems. These values are already configured in Kubernetes resources. It would be highly beneficial to avoid creating new functions or modules specifically for storing and retrieving sensitive information by directly accessing the Kubernetes resources. This approach reduces complexity, improves security, and increases efficiency.

It would be a great improvement for the APIC development portal subsystem security, and it is simpler.
