Support for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) / Quantum-Safe algorithms across IBM API Connect

As part of a technology and cybersecurity assessment, our customer requires a documented, official roadmap for quantum-safe cryptography across their key infrastructure platforms. We run IBM API Connect 10.0.8.3 on VMware (OVA). IBM Support has confirmed (case TS022721118) that API Connect currently has no publicly available PQC roadmap. Without an official product-management statement on direction and timelines, we cannot complete our crypto-agility / quantum-safe readiness assessment for the platform.

 

We request that IBM Product Management publish a forward-looking roadmap for PQC / quantum-safe support in API Connect, addressing:
1. Whether PQC / quantum-safe (and hybrid classical+PQC) algorithms are planned, and for which components: API Gateway (DataPower) TLS, Management, Analytics, Developer Portal, and inter-subsystem communication.
2. Planned support for quantum-safe certificates, digital signatures, and key management.
3. Target release(s) and indicative timelines.
4. Whether an upgrade to a later API Connect version will be required to obtain these capabilities.
