This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

We are leveraging IBM API Connect to support monetization use cases (selling APIs to customers), where customers are billed on a monthly cycle. While billing is managed in a separate system, we rely on IBM APIC to enforce rate limiting based on the calendar month.
As this monthly rate-limiting capability is currently not available on the platform, we are forced to manage it manually. This manual handling is operationally inefficient and increases the risk of errors. Therefore, enabling a monthly rate-limiting policy in IBM APIC is a high priority and needs to be delivered as soon as possible.
Please consider this as a priority.
The customer has already migrated from their previous API Management platform to IBM API Connect and is currently leveraging API Monetization in their production environment. Any prolonged disruption or delay in resolving this issue could directly impact their ability to monetize APIs, potentially resulting in revenue loss and negative business impact.
Given the production impact and potential financial exposure, we would appreciate an expedited review and engagement from the relevant teams to help drive this to resolution as quickly as possible. If this feature is not included there is a chance customer might go back to older API Management Platform.
