Merged idea

Password is displayed as a string in YAML/Debug Merged

When username and password are provided in invoke/proxy for testing an API, the password is being displayed as plain text in YAML file and Debug which is not secure.

    Even setting credentials in the Catalog Properties is not the appropriate solution, as that requires restricting access to Catalog Settings (which hinders access to important information for developers). API Connect requires some form of internal vault or a separate section within API Manager where credentials can be stored and is accessible to only admins

    We have the same issue at my company. We use the Invoke and Proxy policies with username and password. Would be great to be able to use the DataPower password map and alias to reference a password securely from the assembly policy.
