Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

  3. Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Email: API Connect: Enhanced Formatting Options (CSS) for HTML Mail Notifications

Our team currently uses external software to create Email Notifications to our API Subscribers. API Connect v10 offers the possibility to create mailings to all subscribers or even subscribers of distinct API products, which makes the handling for us much easier compared to the external solution.

However the options to brand these Emails are very limited and will not be accepted from our Marketing Department. It is not possible to specify inline CSS in the HTML code as the style attribute and various HTML tags are filtered out.
This has already been communicated to the API Connect developer team (https://github.com/ibm-apiconnect/devportal/issues/11) and they asked to open a RFE.
