Whilst API Connect can integrate with an enterprise LDAP directory for Authentication (https://ibm.co/2tNZpJM) it does not support mapping API Connect roles to AD/LDAP Groups. Our organization ensures and validates that people have the correct access rights based on their membership in to AD Groups. Without this functionality, we have to the separately manage and report user roles in API Connect outside of our current access control processes. This is manual and therefore more liable to mistakes and bypassing these processes intentionally.
