Ability to limit analytics shown to API consumers in Developer Portal

In the developer portal in Consumer Organization Analytics in API call history panel there is access to complete analytics information - some of them are gathered for internal reasons but should not be shared with consumers. For example:

  • Records of internal calls (API-s called by main API)

  • Internal identifiers

  • Internal headers (that are not returned to consumer otherwise but stripped on WAF)

At minimum it would be good to have option to only show aggregate information (hide whole "API call history" panel).

In optimal case there should be some way to filter (remove records) and shape (remove attributes) analytics information returned.

    Additional content control has been added to the Developer Portal as part of our 10.0.x CD Release which will be rolled up into future LTSR.

    Thank you for your feedback around the current analytics implementation in the Developer Portal. We will evaluated your request to be able to hide/show the call history panel and/or the returned json details. Any redaction, filtering, modifications of the actual analytics record should be done using the redaction policies as part of the API Assembly.

    If the current implementation is causing concerns it can be disabled by the portal administrator Administration Ribbon -> Configuration ->System -> IBM API Developer Portal
