Dear team, during security testing using APIConnect, we encountered a situation that we received 500 as the http response when sending a request with an invalid string inserted.
I understand that the eval function is not evaluated by default, but for security reasons it is desirable to return a constant http response (eg 200).
Invalid string is below:
User-Agent: eval(compile('for x in range(1):\n import time\n time.sleep(2)','a','single'))

Hi, After evaluating this RFE we have't seen more interest on this request. So will not be considering at this time,
Thank you for submitting this enhancement request but if the user is sending an invalid input why would we send back an 200 Success response code. We will need to be provided with more details in the use case so that we can understand the request.
The input as shown above is invalid with no ability for the Gateway to process. So providing an 500 Internal Server Error - where the server has encountered a situation it does not know how to handle is appropriate.
