This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Thank you for submitting the request for enhancement. We are not aware of any other operators / operands from IBM or RedHat that show a % complete for upgrades. API Connect follows a standardized set of playbooks for designing and implementing our Operators. If you can point to examples where this is done we will review and evaluate. At this time we will be closing this Idea as not under consideration. If in the future you would like to recreate a new request at ideas.ibm.com with examples from IBM or RedHat providing % Complete in their solutions we will reevaluate our stance.
The status of an upgrade can be tracked by monitoring the CR status which contains the number of services ready of the the total number of services for the subsystem. It also lists which microservices are pending if they are not all in a ready state.
The docs linked in the request already describes how to check the output of
oc get apiconnectcluster -n <APIC_namespace>
oroc get ManagementCluster -n <mgmt_namespace>
to view the summary of the CR instances including the ready pods count.
