Why is it useful?
We need a feature to enforce the reset client-secret after every n number of days for the Apps created in APIM v10 or Developer Portal v10, may be 60 days or 90 days by default. Enforcing the client-secret makes the APIs more secure. Reset client-secret after every 60 days is one of the most common security compliance requirement by the Government Authorities to who controls the Banks in their Country. The Insurance companies, Financial companies wants to secure their Apps and APIs using this client-secret reset policy. This is very useful feature to have in APIC v10 product.
Who would benefit from it?
All APIC users, app consumers will benefit from this feature, they will be able to implement compliance requirement.
How should it work?
There should be option to reset the client-secret for each app created in the APIM or Developer Portal. Either the consumer should be able to apply this policy or provider should also be able to enforce this reset policy for their consumers or clients.
