Send Client CA List option in IBM API Connect

We want to disable Send Client CA List option in TLS Server Profile in APIC Domain of the DataPower gateway while validating client certificates. This is because the DataPower SSL server only includes DNs of valid CA certificates from the validation credential when 'Send Client CA List' is set to ON.

But after some time, even after disabling the option, it reverts to 'ON' and the configuration rolls back to 'ON'.

We understand that we are making a chance to a TLS Profile that is part of an APIGW config. DataPower config does not automatically change unless it is controlled by APIC in the APIGW..

When we created PMR, IBM Support team asked us to create gateway extension to make changes to server profile in DataPower API gateway and the export the configuration to add in catalog as Gateway extension.

But we need this to be a default option in DataPower Gateway instead of writing gateway extension

We will leave it open till Dec 23, 2024 and if it has not received enough unique client votes then we will close it. For reference, This can currently be achieved with gateway extensions and is not under consideration at this time. We will continue to monitor voting for this idea with the potential to reconsider in the future. (https://integration-development.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/DPGWY-I-520)
