Changing file size of MQ recovery logs

High loaded queue managers need plenty of log space. In traditional environments therefore we had to increase the size of the recovery logs therefore. Now we need this feature in cloud environments too.

It is possible, to create a queue manager using greater log files manually - that means in a terminal window on an existing pod. But it should be possible, to specify the log file size via YAML too.

This is something we hope to add to a future version of MQ

    Hello,

I need this for setting up QMgrs in the Cloud Pak for Integration environmant. I could set up greater transaction logs manually - by defining a QMgr in an existing Pod with "crtmqm" and the correspondig options - but not directly using YAML. One of my customers has lots of messages per day and needs bigger transaction logs therefore.

    With best regards

    Hubert

    Hi Hubert,

Thanks for raising this. Forwarding it on to the MQ team for appropriate prioritisation.

Could you pease confirmt the form-factor you are looking for this on - it looks like containers from your request?
