The goal of an assembly is to simplify the way a capability is created, and in the case of MQ many customers require that a queue manager created as part of CP4I using conatiners can be accessed from outside the OCP cluster.
In order to do this, you are required to create a specific channel and the corresponding route in OCP to use SNI and provide the required access. The detaiuls can be found in the following MQ KC article: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ibm-mq/9.3?topic=cqmumo-configuring-route-connect-queue-manager-from-outside-red-hat-openshift-cluster

The ability to specify the SNI is included in the declarative messaging capability in 16.1.0 - please see if this meets what you are looking for.
We're actively looking to talk to people who would be interested in this as part of our product discovery process - if you'd be willing to participate, please let us know!
