We are migrating our DataPower devices from the old firmware to the new IDG X2 physical devices. Currently we are using LDAP for user authentication. However, as our firm is moving towards authentication using IDAnywhere , we would like to see OpenID Connect (OIDC) as an RBM authentication option to authenticate users on DataPower device.
IDAnywhere supports the following protocols:
OIDC (Open ID Connect) - specifically the 'Authorization Code Flow'
SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) - Typically used by most 3rd Party applications
WS-FEDERATION - Supported by a small number of applications - e.g. SharePoint
OpenID Connect (OIDC) is an authentication layer on top of OAuth 2.0, an authorization framework. The standard is controlled by the OpenID Foundation.
