The service uses Kerberos authentication in AAA policy. Every first transaction of the Kerberos authentication process/steps in that service is failing with “AAA Authentication Failure” error and responds with HTTP 401 to the client. This is happening thousands of times every day causing the system log files to roll quickly.
The next transaction being successful, the error due to AAA failure of no Token availability is happening as many times as the successful transaction.
The Message count monitors are giving false picture of the service getting nearly 100% failure, which is making the actual troubleshooting difficult.
