This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

In light of the tests we carried out with Arnauld Desprets, we observed that when the "Host name validation fail on error" function is activated, the "Crypto Validation Credential" trustore is no longer used. This is a real problem for us. We would like this “Validate server host name” function to complement the “Validate server certificate” function and that these options are not mutually incompatible.
Moreover on the DataPower interface we can select both: Validate Server host name & Validate Server certificate
So when we selected both options we would like to have both checks, and not just the host name validation.

We are accepting this RFE for future release, but we don't have an exact schedule yet for the delivery. These RFEs are in DataPower groomed backlog and are in our roadmap consideration for 2H'21.
Attachment (Description): Here we can see the possibility to validate both server validations (hostname and certificate with the trustore). But in the reality, when we check both options with the fail on error, only the hostname validation is done, and the DataPower trustore is not checked.
