Edit the built in role or to add more options under the custom role in DPOD

Hello,

We are planning to add Datapower operations dashboard(DPOD) for monitoring our gateway servers. DPOD administrator is granted with a built-in admin role while developers are provided with the power user role. The development team needs to add several alerts for monitoring the API’s but with the power user role, they don’t have such privilege. It is now needed as per our requirement to edit either the built-in role or the custom role so that a power user can edit the alerts. As of now, only an administrator can make that change which in our case is not possible. Please enable a way to add more flexibility to the custom role by adding more options related to enable or disable alerts creation or we should be able to manage built-in role to some extent.

Thanks

Luv

The feature is delivered in DPOD 1.0.15 release.

Please refer to DPDO 1.0.15 product documentation for more details: https://montier.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DPOD011500/overview

This feature would certainly enable admins to provide necessary permissions to users in order create / configure alerts on their own. Currently this permission is only with super users which, if provided, would let users to have unwanted admin privileges as well. So, it's required to have the flexibility for admins to create custom roles to allow users to use alert capability.
