Now, apparently this also applies for many of the newly issued Qualified Electronic Seal certificates recognized in the European Union (eIDAS, see also: https://esignature.ec.europa.eu/efda/home/#/screen/home).
This caught us by surprise, as the use of Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm has been standard in cryptography for several years. We are in urgent need of support for ECDAS with SOAP-XML-Signature in Sign- and Verify-Actions on DataPower Gateway.
