This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Hi – Thank you for raising this request. We agree that this could be a valid enhancement for our third-party OAuth integration support.
However, as an alternative solution we also support the ability to configure PreFlow Policies (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/api-connect/10.0.5.x_lts?topic=policies-customizing-preflow) prior the assembly. This might help you to catch and rewrite the errors which occur before reaching the API policy flow (eg. in the case of 401 or 404). Additonally, you can also use global policies that can run just before, or just after an API assemblies is called or when an error is thrown (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/api-connect/10.0.5.x_lts?topic=applications-working-global-policies) The global policies are deployed to Gateway Services and associated with given Catalogs (optional Space). So even though they are called Global it is not an all or nothing across the environment.
