Workspace DataPower Gateway

The DataPower pod console log is not able to be user modified at startup.

The default log and other logs are able to be modified via config map so that the logs come up in the needed state.  But the console log is unable to be modified through any standard method at startup this will result in a failed/down console log.

To use the k8s/ocp console log which is through stdout the console log would need to be modified but this is not possible with out user intervention.
There is nothing documented that suggests the console log is special or limited.

This is as it turns out being handled as an enhancement.
