Support filtering (skipping) of event messages by header values

We have various products that we want to store events for in ES. These products are organized in categories and e.g. by order numbers. We add these information as event headers so consumer can filter by them before unmarshalling the JSON. With the existing event gateway functionality, each consumer needs to read all events although he is only interested in specific categories or order numbers. We would like the Event Gateway to support an Option control "Event filter" that does not check schema compliance but that allows to specify rules whether a specific event should be passed on to the consumer or should be immediately committed by the Gateway (increase offset). For us, it would be sufficient to filter by header information but better would be to enable JSON path expressions or even some kind of scripting.
