Real‑Time AI Anomaly Detection Nodes and Automated Schema Mapping in IBM Event Processing

I propose adding Real‑Time AI Anomaly Detection Nodes and Automated Schema Mapping to IBM Event Processing to help organizations gain deeper visibility into their event streams and proactively identify operational issues before they impact business outcomes.

This enhancement would provide organizations with intelligent, low‑code nodes that continuously monitor event flows, learn normal execution patterns, detect unusual behavior, and automatically align diverse event schemas. By combining anomaly detection with schema mapping, enterprises could simplify integration across hybrid environments while ensuring real‑time responsiveness.

The proposed capability could leverage Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytics to identify deviations from expected event patterns, highlight potential compliance risks, predict stream delays, and recommend corrective actions. Automated schema mapping would reduce manual configuration effort, accelerate onboarding of new event sources, and improve governance across distributed systems.

This enhancement would help enterprises:

- Detect anomalies in event streams proactively.

- Reduce operational risks and downtime.

- Simplify schema integration across diverse event sources.

- Optimize event workflows through AI‑powered recommendations.

- Support continuous improvement in event‑driven architectures.

- Enable smarter automation opportunities across industries.

- Improve decision‑making for both business and IT teams.

By adding real‑time AI‑driven anomaly detection and schema mapping capabilities, IBM Event Processing could further strengthen its position as an enterprise event automation platform, helping organizations accelerate digital transformation, improve operational excellence, and achieve greater business value from their event data.
