Feature Request: Granular Kubernetes Cost & Resource Monitoring (Namespace/Pod Level)

Hi ,

Thank you for your prompt response and for clarifying the scope of ILS.

Our current requirement is not related to IBM license‑metric reporting. We need visibility into CPU and memory consumption per namespace and per pod in our Kubernetes clusters, similar to the functionality offered by Kubecost, in order to optimize resource usage and associated costs.

Could you let us know whether IBM offers a service or tool that provides this level of Kubernetes resource‑consumption and cost‑allocation insight? If such a solution exists within IBM’s portfolio, we would appreciate any guidance, documentation, or recommendations on how to evaluate and adopt it.

We are keen to explore options that help us better manage and reduce operational expenses across our clusters and are happy to discuss further details as needed.

BNP Paribas does not support shadow technologies, so we would like to know whether kubecost is officially supported by IBM

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
