Native SCVMM (System Center Virtual Machine Manager) integration in ILMT

ILMT currently has no native support for Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM). As a result, customers using SCVMM to manage their Hyper-V environments cannot configure a single centralised VM Manager connection — instead, each individual Hyper-V host must be configured as a separate VM Manager entry in ILMT. For customers managing large or dynamically scaled Hyper-V environments through SCVMM, this creates a significant operational burden: VM Manager entries must be manually or programmatically maintained per host, and any changes to the estate (provisioning, decommissioning, reconfiguration) require corresponding updates in ILMT. This is time-consuming, error-prone, and does not reflect the actual management boundary — which is SCVMM, not individual hosts. The proposed enhancement is to add SCVMM as a supported VM Manager type in ILMT, alongside the existing Hyper-V, VMware, and other supported hypervisor management platforms. This would allow customers to configure a single SCVMM connection, with ILMT then discovering and tracking the underlying Hyper-V guests through that integration — consistent with how ILMT handles VMware vCenter today.
