RFE for missing 'Mobility' support for Hyper-V where the Windows VM shows status as No VMmanager Data.

We have integrated Hype-V environment with Windows Virtual machines for calculating the subcapacity licencing where we encountered a strange issue where the Windows VM is consistently reporting No VM Manager data in Hardware Inventory on the ILMT.

Tried all the troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue however al the actions performed have failed to resolve this issue.

We had raised a IBM Case for this issue Reference, IBM support informed us that this issue is related to the Missing Mobility Support for the Hyper-V environment and requested us to raise a RFE.

Anticipating support to resolve this issue are the Fix or APAR is not available yet.

Thanks & Regards

Hello, in ILMT 9.2.25 we have introduced support for Hyper-V VMs with virtualization flag enabled running in VMware guest. Such VM was previously reported with missing capacity scans although it was not hosting any next llevel virtualization guests (which is not supported).

    Details in this Idea: https://integration-development.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/ILMT-I-28

Please review if this capability addresses the use case described in this Idea.

To benefit from this new capability, the ILMT scanner running in the VM needs to be upgraded to version 9.2.25.
