Current approach for generating audit snapshots in ILMT is to have the software asset manager review and validation of the report, apply necessary changes/configuration if needed and only then generate audit snapshot. Such review of the license usage report is a key benefit from ILMT and allows to identify any license compliance risks early and act accordingly. Because of this ILMT does not have capability of automated generation of audit snapshot. Also defining reports for audit snapshots in advance is not aligned with the desired usage pattern for the product.
