Enhance the re[port period for Resource Utilization report

The current Resource utilzation report has a max of 30 days. The retention period can be anything with a minimum of 30 days. Because the contractual report date is 2 year, it makes sense to enhance the max reporting perio to 731 days (2 year). In addition it should be possible to adjust the reporting period as in almost all reports

    Hello, thanks for opening the Idea and your interest in ILMT.

    Resource Utilization panel is not meant to be a final reporting one. All the IBM products which generate SLM tags with license utilization should do this in such a way, that the license usage is present on All Metrics report together with processor capacity based metrics such as PVU and VPC. So, All Metrics should be the report used for contractual license usage reporting.

    Resource Utilization is only a raw data panel which can be used mainly for troubleshooting purposes if some data does not appear on All Metrics. This is why this panel does not have regular reporting period adjusting.

    I'm putting this Idea into 'delivered' status as the capability of reporting any period for all instrumented products in ILMT is in place. However, if for some IBM products data appears only on 'Resource Utilization' but not on 'All Metrics' panel, please open a regular support ticket to have this analyzed and improved.
