We want IBM to implement full support for using MQ REST API also in an MQ Advanced 9.x RDQM HA cluster environment
IBM
----
In the current PMR we have it's stated -
"Note: The IBM® MQ Console does not support replicated data queue
managers."
.
This also applies for the REST API - neither the web console or REST API
can be used with RDQM queue managers.
.
Please have the customer raise an RFE so that the development team are
aware of the customer's requirement for this function.

We have also received the below information from IBM in the PMR that states the only possible workaround as of today
IBM
-----
While the console or REST API cannot be used directly with RDQM queue
managers, there is a potential workaround for use of the REST API - a
separate queue manager could be created to act as a gateway queue
manager for the REST API. There are details on configuring the REST API
to use a gateway queue manager and on setting up queue managers for
remote administration using the REST API in these links here:

The REST API support provided by MQ today is associated with an individual MQ install, rather than a specific queue manager. This means that when highly available queue managers move from one system to another they do not stay associated with the same MQ webserver. Providing a solution that enables MQ's REST APIs with highly available queue managers is something that we do expect to focus on in the future.
