MQ REST APIs in Containers

We are planning to use MQ REST APIs for our messaging needs.
Right now our plan for set up is to go with a multi-instance HA queue manager option.
And primarily use REST APIs where ever possible with the limited features that MQ provides for APIs.

We also have a future road map to move to cloud packs for mq containers.
We need these REST APIs to be supported in cloud packs as well as it is supported in the multi-instance queue manager option. Is there a plan to include these in the future, I know right now they are not supported. Or should we avoid using rest APIs so the solution will be consistent when we move to cloud packs?

We are considering adding support for this to a future version of MQ
