+CSQX037E -MS1A CSQXRCTL Unable to get message from SGMEM1L1TW_QM.UAT, MQCC=2 MQRC=2342 (MQRC_DB2_NOT_AVAILABLE)

At present, an active and working Db2 is a firm requirement for correct
use and operation of shared channels and can be viewed as an essential
pre-requisite in the same way that TCP/IP might be and as such the
product has been architected with this assumption in mind.

That said, we are aware of the requirement to remove the dependency on
Db2 as a pre-requisite for shared queues and this is still under
consideration for future releases of MQ.

For this particular issue with retry on shared channels, I have
discussed this with development and they recommend that the customer
raise an RFE specifically for this issue it may be a more easily
achievable improvement short of the full Db2-removal requirement.

We recognise that this is a valid requirement. However it doesn't fit with our delivery plans for the next couple of years.
As a result we are declining this RFE. While declined the RFE can still be voted, and commented, upon. Declined RFEs can be reopened after one year, so if you would still like this function after a year you can reopen the RFE and we will reconsider it.
