This is a major concern for us as we have Platinum services running on our MQ appliances . As you can imagine our Change team are not happy that we have no fallback option when we need to upgrade. It is unfortunate as the MQ appliance is now a product which I would be very willing to highly endorse with any customer assuming there is a solution to this issue.
Agreed: we need this same feature on both LTS and CD releases. As we are using CD, we plan to upgrade our servers 4 times every year. Not having a rollback procedure in case anything goes wrong is unacceptable.
This request applies to both LTS and CD releases
This is a perfectly reasonable request, and now that we don't actually have backwards compatibility PTFs from 9.2.0 its relatively simple to do. However, as with everything else, its not free. I will leave this open for the time being and see how many votes it gets, then we will consider where this item fits in our list of priorities.
