This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

For auditing purposes and for technical analyses of application activity
we collect application activity tracing information in MQ on Multiplatforms.
One can create subscriptions to specific topics to collect application activity trace data from IBM MQ v.9.0 on Multiplatforms:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ibm-mq/9.2?topic=trace-subscribing-application-activity-information
Specific topics are relevant in order to limit data collection. In that case only specific trace data, like activity via important SVRCONN channels, will be collected.
We would also like to collect the same information on MQ on z/OS in the same manner. We would like to be able to create subscriptions to specific topics to collect application activity trace data from MQ on z/OS.
Pros are uniformity and transparancy.

This is a duplicate of the requirement raised on the previous RFE system at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewChangeRequest&CR_ID=56321 which was closed as declined. Unfortunately, the situation hasn't changed since that time.
We recognise that this is a valid requirement. However it doesn't fit with our delivery plans for the next couple of years. As a result we are declining this Idea.
