DNS Cache for inbound and outbound connections on the MQ Appliance

We are currently running with a DNS issue in the bank whereby numerous appliance data interfaces (could be all) have very high DNS lookup percentages. This was brought to our attention from networks at Absa bank. We have confirmed with IBM that, inbound connections to the appliances do not get cached in DNS, but outbound connections do.


We would like to request for an enhancement on the appliance to cache both inbound and outbound connections from a DNS perspective, which potentially would resolve our current issue and address these high volumes moving forward.
