Hi there,
We have many Production lpars complaining about "log buffer waits" for MQ managers.
We have opened 2 IBM cases for that, we have implemented all best practices, but without success.
OUTBUFF parameter is limited to 4000.
Very small space, if we have a heavy utilization of MQ managers.
IBM suggested to created more MQ managers, but we already have 5 MQ managers, for example, in one of our Production lpars. And this also cause many troubles (change application, define other MQ manager, more CPU consumption, etc.).
We think MQ lab could increase OUTBUFF parameter, like we have for DB2 software.
This will be very good.
PS: we have discussed these points with other companies too, and they have similar problems, waiting for the increase of OUTBUFF. So, it is a common problem for big companies.
