MQ for z/OS - Dispatcher Task Use - Round Robin allocation

After reviewing a number of customers MQ SMF data, far too many have issues with the way channels are assigned to dispatcher tasks. For example, they will have 5 tasks defined but only one or two are ever in use because of the 'rule of 10' allocation of channels to dispatcher tasks. If the channels were assigned to the available tasks on a round robin basis, it would reduce the contention and possibly benefit their message throughput.

    The current model is based on the fact that it is generally better to have a smaller number of "hot" TCBs than a larger number of luke warm ones. At the moment I can't see us changing this so I am declining this idea. While declined the idea can still be voted, and commented, upon.
