This is perhaps not what you were asking for, but in the just announced MQ 9.3.3, support will provided for the IBM MQ connectors with MQ Advanced. These are the same connectors that IBM Event Streams uses. Kafka Connect remains the standard approach for bridging between Kafka and other projects.
