The MFT Protocol Bridge Agent is not retrieving files from OpenText SFTP Servers due to a dependancy on lstat which is not fully supported by OpenText.

The RFC indicates lstat is a “should support” statement from the RFC for the protocol and not a “must support”. As IBM MFT is the client application it would seem prudent for it to support as many different implementations of the protocol for the widest possible use case. See Case number TS013272627 for additional details. With the current implemenation MFT returns files of zero length with a successfull status code. ANBAMBRO host the OpenText SFTP server and have not reported probelms with other SFTP clients as they appear to use a different workflow thast not dependant on lstat, or they just work around the issue.
