This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

The current version of MQ, 9.4, only supports Application servers implementing Jakarta EE 9.1 or below (https://www.ibm.com/software/reports/compatibility/clarity-reports/report/html/softwareReqsForProduct?deliverableId=367442DE910A46B0A02768947525804E&osPlatforms=Linux&duComponentIds=D006|S008|S012|S011|S010|S007|S009|A005|A002|A004|A003|A017&mandatoryCapIds=16&optionalCapIds=30|47|9|25|20|184|185|70|16|15|26|28#sw-0)
This leads to the situation that the Jakarta EE 10 version supported on some current versions of application servers is not supported by any MQ versions as can be seen here https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/1380615
Since the newer versions of application servers will move to newer versions of the Jakarta EE specification it would be necessary for MQ to also support this newer specifications so we can use the newer versions of the application servers and still have a working/supported configuration with regards to MQ
