Create process or triggering SMF records

This would be helpful to both customers and IBM for both problem determination and capacity planning.

    Hi Matt,
No, This is a request for a new subtype of statistics data for triggering specifically. It may be easier to think of this as 'Process' statistics, each time a trigger event invokes a specific process the count is incremented for that interval. Was this intended as a response to 'turn on all statistics and accounting for the queue manager, regardless of the individual queue and channel settings?'
    Thanks

    Lyn

    Hi Lyn,

Are you saying you would like a command that tells the queue manager to emit a sub-set of SMF data at the time the command is run?

If so you can do something similar now by issuing SET SYSTEM STATINT(0.01) which will push data out in the next second, then you can go back to your normal interval if you want. Same applies for accounting data.
Or are you looking for something more fine-grained?
