Hello,
Good day. I was wondering if you had any comments on my earlier points above. Appreicate your comments.
Thanks
Hello, Thank you for raising this request. I have gone through the request and trying to understand more on the "Sticky" function. MQ does support JMSXGroupID using which sender applications set a groupId (any meaningful value) on messages and send them to a queue. The consumer applications can select messages based on the same groupId.
For example:
Sender application does the following:
Receiver application does the following to select messages based on the group Id. The consumer will receive only those messages that match the specified groupId.
The above basically ties a group of messages to a single consumer. Thought this is what you were looking for. I did read through the ActiveMQ link you provided and felt the groupId behavior is same as IBM MQ. Can you please clarify on what you are expecting from "Sticky" function?
Thank you
