Extend rest admin api for transactional events for customFields

Scenario at Customer Dataport:

We want to add a custom endpoint (/metrics) for Prometheus scraping. This endpoint is supposed to offer more fine-grained information about API invocations, i.e. additional caller/app information and backend routing information (in case of multiple backends / lb,dynamic routing).

To achieve this we want to implement a custom IS package + WxPrometheus. Our service will call API Gateways admin REST API and use the /transactionalEvents/_search endpoint to retrieve the transactional events from a certain time interval.

To add our additional information to the transactional events we want to use the built-in customExtension/customTransactionalField policy.

Problem/Pain point:

Adding the additional information works, but the added information is only visible in ElaticSearch/Kibana. We can’t see it when calling the /transactionalEvents/_search endpoint.

Feature Request:

Please add the field/array „customFields“ to the data model of the rest admin api for transactional events. This would allow customers to retrieve more custom and fine-grained information from the admin api, which then can be used in custom implementations similar to Dataports use-case.
