APIGW home page Search functionality with Resource, operations name

If an API has n number of resouces/operations, say getEmpName, postEmpId and  searching by the resource name on the search bar from the home page, is not resulting the API in which the resource is associated with.

With case opened, TS019398708, we understand from the support team "The path search is not supported. if you are seeing anything on the global search it might be due to multiple parameters, apiname, description etc.

If needed please raise a feature request for this. It is not currently supported to avoid a performance issue on Datastore side."

Please refer the case TS019398708 for how to reproduce this issue.

    Hello Sundaresan

Thank you for the idea. To better understand the business need, could you share specific examples of when developers need to search by method names?

    For example:

    • What scenarios drive searching for "getInfo" vs. the API name?

    • How does this impact the developer's workflow (time lost, manual browsing required)?

    • What's the typical use case - debugging, integration work, code reviews?

A concrete example would help us prioritize and design the right solution. Thank you.

    Best Regards
