Customized behavior for 302 response

Hello team,

For an urgent and business-critical need, we require a customized behavior in the case of an HTTP 302 response code.

Here is the current/default behavior for a 302 response:

1. The consumer calls the API

2. The API responds with a 302

3. The API automatically redirects the consumer to the URL provided in the response

What we need instead:

1. The consumer calls the API

2. The API responds with a 302

3. The consumer receives the 302 response along with the redirection URL

Unlike the default 302 behavior, the flow should stop after the response, and no automatic redirection to the provided URL should occur on the consumer side.

You will find in attachment a diagram to illustrate the request.

Kind regards,

Béatrice HUYNH
