Add online editor for Reference Data

Currently, Reference Data in webMethods.io can only be updated by re-uploading a new file (e.g., CSV), which is inefficient and error-prone—especially for small changes or frequent updates. This limitation forces users to maintain external versions of the data and go through a repetitive upload process even for minor edits.

I propose the addition of an online editor within the webMethods.io platform that allows users to:

  • View Reference Data in a tabular format.
  • Edit individual cells directly.
  • Add or remove rows and columns.
  • Save changes without needing to re-upload files.

Benefits:

  • Improves productivity and user experience.
  • Reduces the risk of versioning errors.
  • Enables faster iteration and testing.
  • Aligns with modern low-code/no-code platform expectations.

This feature would be especially valuable for teams managing configuration tables, lookup values, or static mappings that evolve over time.
