Update Input Validation in IS pages text fields

1. Login to the application with valid credentials.

2. Browse the application and enter invalid characters in input field or enter the malicious script/link in the form fields when create remote server.

3. It is observed that this application is allowing special characters with malicious script got saved successfully in Browser.

All input fields, form fields, URL parameter and hidden fields must be properly sanitized. It is recommended that the application perform validation at the server side to disallow special characters. The application should allow only characters required by the field. Special characters like ‘“< >.: * # % & / \ | (); - should not be allowed. In case special characters are required, these should be encoded using an appropriate encoding mechanism (e.g., HTML encoding, etc.) to ensure that these are not interpreted by the browser.

Suggest to validate all type of text field / area.
