This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

We are currently preparing an update that will allow a "default" custom role to be associated with all new users. This custom role can be configured to have minimum controls.
They can then after ask for additional access.
fyi - This is only a short term solution as we have a number of improvements that are planned;
Private projects - In the future it will be possible to make a project private, in which case it is only visible to the owner of the project. That person in turn will be able to add other users to facilitate collaboration
Fine grained custom roles - Existing custom roles will be replaced by roles that allow for specific actions to be listed, and will no longer be used to restrict access to specific projects (in favour of 1).
(1) is planned for late Q3, early Q4, whereas (2) will be progressively release end of Q4, or Q1 2026
Following up on behalf of Carey, can this please be assessed.
Hi team, any update on this or you need additional information on it ? Thanks
